Made it to London...

...like that was hard. Stayed up all night Thursday/Friday, tidying up a few things for work and triple checking the packing list. Obligatory last-minute issies with the home computer linkup to the Internet might prevent me from accessing that thing as easily as I would have hoped, but I think I managed to fix things before leaving.
Anywho, 6am flight to Vancouver, followed by a nine hour layover allowed me to spend the bulk of the day with my Lisa and Bert (sister and her husband). E few bevies at the Beaver got me in the right mood to hiit the Air Canada executive lounge and, well...have more bevies. Then on to the 767 to...have...more...bevies. Flight was fine - I booked business class for the long haul flights, so the seat was large, the movie, contrary to Bert's warnings, was decent. Batman action knocked me out for the rest of the flight, and now I'm here at an Internet cafe in Heathrow filling in THIS blog thing. Off to Milan in a couple of hours (longer layover than anticipated as we arrived an hour early). I've read through the Steves guide for getting into town there, so everything should run smooth.
