If you go to Sorrento, go to Franco's Pizzeria (beside the Michelangelo Hotel). Pick a seat that doesn't have a slab of parma hanging above it-- you never know when karma's gonna get ya.

So now I'm spamming.
At the risk of planning your trip:
I can recommend Hotel Borgognoni in Rome. Awesome location, you can walk to everything. Staff is great! Good breakfast too. If you book online (expedia.ca), you'll get a better deal. It should cost ~10E to get there from the train station- make them turn on the meter. If you want to go to airport in style, the front desk can call you a Mercedes. Buckle up.
